I don’t know about you but I am so happy that some of the mainstream magazines are finally featuring more naturals. As African American women our beauty is diverse with many different skin tones and hair textures. I love to look in a magazine and see women with all different shapes, sizes and skin tones. Today Essence.com featured the Treasure our Tresses Event, I attended the event last week and I was super excited to click the link and see a photo of myself, along with many other familiar Chicago bloggers.
