I have been waiting to review the Siren Call collection from Fashion Fair since they announced their partnership with Celebrity Makeup Artist Sam Fine. Fashion Fair is one of the few department store brands that targets women of color, and it is really exciting to see they are stepping out of the box and going into a new direction. This past summer I worked on the fall campaign with Fashion Fair as a Makeup Artist assistant. Working with the company was a great experience, and I recently received photos from the ad. The Siren Call collection helps to dispel the myth that women of color can not wear red. I have to admit, I don’t wear red often because I feel a bit uncomfortable and my husband does not like red lips. I blame myself for this because I wear neutral shades 95% of the time. The Siren Call collection put my fears at ease because it has shades of red that look great on every complexion. The collection has four lipsticks, three nail polishes and one lip gloss. The products also came in a red box that can be used as a jewelry box.
