Going natural is not an easy task. The most challenging part is transitioning. You have many options to choose from: You can BC (big chop), wear protective styles or be unbeweavable during the transition.  Carol’s Daughter is a brand I have used for many years, and I am in love with the Tui Hair Oil. It smells great and adds mega shine to my sometimes dry and thirsty natural hair. The folks over at Carol’s Daughter have come up with a new product line that includes a three piece kit specifically designed for transitioners.  Solange is the face of this new product campaign. Be sure to visit the website to view beautiful photos of women with natural hair, tips from licensed stylists and enter for a chance to be featured on the website as Transitioner of The Week. Pretty cool stuff right?!

This past Saturday I hosted a focus group for Carol’s Daughter. This was a special invite only event with some of the members from Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup. All of the participants were treated to full size products from Carol’s Daughter, and a hair care discussion led by Aeleise Mitchell of Hair Love Art Studio. We also enjoyed shopping with vendors, food and fun! Thank you all for coming out and thank you Carol’s Daughter for the opportunity to spread the love in Chicago.

You know people are excited when they arrive early:)
