It finally happened! I met Curly Nikki! Not only did I meet her, I had the pleasure of working the Chicago Curly Nikki meetup with Motions Hair Care. Nikki has been “that person” in my inbox that I have been trying to catch up with for almost a year now. I don’t follow too many blogs, but I have been an avid reader of Curly Nikki for quite sometime. We both are young moms who love natural hair. This weekend gets checked off my bucket list in a big way! Oh and I forgot to tell ya’ll about another awesome lady I met and worked with on Saturday. You know Rihanna right? Well Ursula Stephen is her personal hair stylist. Ursula and her team styled all of the models’ hair for the event. I want to thank Motions Hair Care for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this epic event. It was truly something special to see over 600 naturals in one room, celebrating our hair and supporting women who have inspired us. Curly Nikki, Motions and Ursula let’s do it again real soon!
