Let’s talk about a time when my mouth literally dropped open from shock and awe. Can you believe that Nene Leakes is on the cover of Ebony Magazine’s December issue? I try to stay pretty neutral when writing about these types of things, but I must say “Really Ebony, Really…?” To top it all off, Ebony decided to feature Nene because she has been acknowledged on the magazine’s annual Power 100 list. This list is comprised of the industries top influential and notable African Americans in the community. Don’t get me wrong, Nene Leakes has definitely taken advantage of her five minutes of fame and parlayed it into a viable acting career. However, I still can’t help asking this question, “Really Ebony, Really…?” What are your thoughts?
