On Saturday Dec 1, 2012 over 350 women attended the Chicago Holiday Beauty Bazaar. Attendees were treated to swag bags filled with great products, guests also enjoyed a fashion show, expert hair care panel and hair styling demos. One lucky audience member was the lucky winner of a head to toe makeover complete with a personal makeup lesson from yours truly, a complementary hair style from the curl experts at Hair Love Art Salon and a $100 gift certificate from Essential Elements Boutique.
A big part of my brand’s mission is to give small business owners a chance to connect with consumers. There were so many cute things to buy I lost track of all of the wonderful vendors.
I would like to send out a special shout out and thank you to my family, volunteers, models, hair and makeup artist team and big hugs to fashion show producer Jocelyn Delk-Adams of High Art Creative Group. The event could not have been a success without all of you. I am also happy to say we impacted the community by making a financial contribution and donating over 40 Christmas gifts to the Chicago Women’s AIDS project. Please enjoy the photos and don’t forget to join the community at www.ChicagoNaturals.net to hear about events planned for 2013.
Check out the designers from the fashion show 71 Jules, Hidden Treasures Boutique, Image of Perfection Designs, Blair Chic Boutique and fashion stylist Pari Sade.

The atmosphere was inclusive, the fashions rocked, did I say rocked? I mean they rocked. The crowd was alive , and nappy. Rachel thanks again for having me there. And let me say that being in the company of so many beautiful, natrualista’s was the best Christmas present this ol santa has had in awhile. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_sJqEzs9JU
