Happy Almost New Year! I have been working on my vision board for 2013 and I’m happy to say I’m almost done. Vision boards are the best because they serve as a visual reminder of your heart’s intention for the new year. I usually place mine on the fridge so that I can look back at it often and be reminded of my dreams and goals. While looking back at some of my photos from this year I felt really grateful for the tremendous strides that have been made in business and in my personal life. Sharing my highlights is not to brag but just to really inspire all of my readers. In 2011 I was just starting my business and literally working by trial and error. 2012 is the year where I really started to see things take off. It was very exciting to say the least. I hope you enjoy the photos and I hope my blog will continue to serve as source of beauty and inspiration in 2013.
10) I love my family celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday at the Penisula on the magnificent mile was quite an experience. My mom is my ultimate inspiration in life, family and love.
9) It was great to meet Jeanne and Melissa of *You & Me In Morning* this was my first tv interview about Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup.
8) I took 3 vacations and mini staycations with my husband this year. My favorite trip was our visit to Philidelphia this my first time being away from my kids for an entire week.
6) Hosting over 700 women with Miss Jessie’s. This meetup was epic! Seriously what I learned from working with Miko and Titi set me up for the remainder of 2012 and beyond.
5) The grand opening of
Hair Love Art Studio gave me the opportunity to work with a great group of salon professionals and offer my services as Makeup Artist and Skin Therapist.
2) Curly Nikki Chicago Meetup was so much fun. I am big fan of
Curly Nikki and it was great to finally meet her and work the event as a VIP model.
1) Spending time with my family in California. I love this picture of my daughter and I on the beach. Cheers to many more vacations, family and lots of success in 2013.
