I am excited,I finally get to blog about the wonderful experience I had in January of this year.  I had such a great time I really wanted to share photos and videos a long time ago but contract stipulations prevented me from doing so.  However, I have now been given the green light to share all the behind the scenes information with you! This past January I was selected to model for Avlon Industries.  Avlon is  best known for creating Keracare. They have also created a new product line called Natural Textures. I am such a fan of this product line, I have tried every product in the line and I really like it not only for myself but for my children as well.

It was such an honor to be selected to model for Avlon because in January I was still trying to adjust to my post baby body having delivered my daughter in October of 2011. Initially when I auditioned there were some concerns because my face still had the full look that most new mommies have. I was given a challenge to try to lose at least 10lbs. I started hitting the treadmill and with the help of a great makeup artist Delisa Lee everything turned out fine.

It was a fun day, it has been about 2 years since I departed the modeling world so I was very excited to be back, a great break from my normal work at home mom routine. I do not know how, if or when Avlon will use the photos from the shoot so we will all just have to wait and see.
