This past weekend I hosted my fourth Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup. Since beginning in January of 2011 our group now consists of over 280 members. Ever heard the statement “You have to crawl before you walk”? When I first started the group we held our first couple of meetings in a church basement and not in the best neighborhood. I was concerned about low attendance and the location I had chosen. My vision was to bring together a community of women who truly support one another while sharing education and inspiration. This event was extra special to me because we held September’s event in a beautiful loft space in downtown Chicago.
Honestly because the event was sold out, after holding just one event at City Loft Point I kinda feel like we have already out grown the space. I am truly grateful to God. Many of you have asked me to host an event that is specifically for those who want to learn how to wear makeup, You asked and I have delivered, please join me on October 16 for Beauty Basics with Rachel O.
