Stop the press! Am I the last to find out Erykah Badu is now a doula? I saw this photo on facebook and immediately it brought up so many thoughts of the many roles we play as women. We are mothers, wives, counselors, teachers and oh so much more! Erykah Badu has always been one of my favorite artists. Every time I see photos of her and Lauryn Hill I think, “how are they able to balance it all?” I was also shocked to see Erykah rocking this straight weave! I am sure it helps to have many options with her hair as she travels and performs. I am not a big fan of this look. I think they could have selected a better looking weave for her. What do you think?
