Afrobella said it best “When I see another woman with natural hair I smile at her” that statement struck a chord with me because it is so true! It was truly my pleasure to host February’s Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup, we had over 50 women that came out to hear hair care tips from stylist Rashida Bibbs and to hear from my extra special guest Patrice from www.Afrobella.com and Leila from www.bglhonline.com. Many of you told me you met new friends and really enjoyed shopping with the vendors. I also received a few requests to take the meetup to the north side of Chicago, I am working on this and hope to make an announcement soon. Avlon products sponsored wonderful samples of the Natural Textures Line I absolutely love this product the hair milk is my favorite, look for my video review soon. Pam from Asili Body Products out did herself by creating a custom “Afrobella” scent just for Patrice! Many of you also wrote in to tell me how much you enjoyed the samples of the Aloe Face Polish from The After Affects Skincare and the moisturizers from Life Organics.
