This past weekend was a “my hair” weekend, as I have a bi-monthly ritual that helps me to maintain my natural hair. I switch my routine quite often, so I am always happy to try new products.
A company by the name of Blended Beauty sent me a couple of products, and when I opened the package I was super excited to use everything because just the names of the products sounded like everything my dry, thirsty natural hair needs. I started off with the Soy Cream Shampoo. It is a moisturizing cleanser that contains aloe, glycerin and protein. Have you ever used a shampoo that left your hair with a residue? I HATE that! I was very happy to see the shampoo rinsed out perfectly with no residue.
After the shampoo, I used the Curl Quenching Conditioner. It is a lightweight conditioner that helped de-tangle and moisturize my hair. I like to leave conditioners in for longer than recommended, because the winter weather really takes a toll on my hair. I wrapped my hair with a warm towel and when I took the towel off there was not much for me to comb out. Needless to say I was very happy about that because I hate combing my hair out 🙂
Lastly I used the Happy Nappy Styles. Don’t you just love the name? This is a styling creme that you can use to do double strand twists, braid outs or style as you wish.
