Do you consider yourself to be pretty calm and quiet at work? For the most part I leave my attitude and personal issues in my car! I smile and speak, even when I don’t want to! In my opinion that is difficult for most people to do, making it a rare talent. Workplace issues are ever prevalent, whether it is kept a secret or made public knowledge. Does your boss undermine your judgment, question your every move, and make decisions that directly affect you without your knowledge!? How would you feel being told in a matter of fact tone that you have to take on an assignment at a different location than the norm, performing slightly different work? To make matters worse, there is already a contract out with the other location for a six month assignment! Personally, I’d be livid and would need to carry out some serious restraint, however given the situation I would definitely discuss the matter with my boss and come up with solutions that allow my participation. Some employers have no regard for their employees, making the workplace a potentially hostile environment. I’m sure that most of us would have all sorts of obscenities raging about in our heads…let’s be for real! Circumstances like this make becoming an entrepreneur sound real good…
