In today’s post I am trying something new. I don’t normally blog about fashion but I left last week’s Macy’s event so inspired that I figured I would give it a shot. I think I have been hesitant to write about fashion because I don’t really consider myself an expert, but I did grow up with a Mom who loves thrift stores and garage sales. Mama Pearl taught me a lot about shopping on a budget! I love African inspired jewelry. I bought the jewelry at one of the Chicago Naturals meetup events.

I bought this jean dress at Target, it came with a different belt. This dress is so comfortable and I think the shape is flattering for all body types.

I picked up this bag and two leather belts from Savers Thrift Store in Orland Park.

I love tights! Especially tights that are unique in color or texture or print. I think the tights add a nice pop of color to the outfit.
