Many of my clients come to me because their eyebrows have been over tweezed and they can’t seem to get them to grow back. Creating a beautiful eyebrow shape is possible even if your hairs are sparse, thin or uneven. The most important thing is to seek a professional Licensed Esthetician and be sure you have the right tools to fill in the brow correctly. What makes waxing unique, is when the wax is applied correctly, it will adhere to the hair and remove the bulb from the follicle. I try to explain this clients who are concerned about waxing creating more hair growth. Waxing does NOT cause hairs to grow back thicker or faster.
With all of my clients I do a pre-wax consultation, this is where I look at the shape of eyes, hair growth, bone structure etc. I also like to get an idea of how clients want their eyebrows shaped, some people just insist on wearing very thin eyebrows. This is a big don’t, when your brows are thin it makes you look older. It is very important to consult a professional especially if you are trying to grow your brows out. After the consultation is when the shaping begins, I like to sculpt the brow first using an angled brush and eyebrow quad. I can not stress enough how important tools are.
Once the wax has been applied and removed a beautiful new shape is created. Getting your eyebrows done can make you look years younger. Even if you are not a person who likes to wear makeup this is the one thing you can do to really make your features stand out and while you are it please don’t forget to remove any facial hair!! If you are feeling a little adventurous go for the Brazilian wax, every woman must have this service done at least once in your lifetime!
