This month I have the pleasure of sharing my love for CURLS products with you. I am the official CURLS Brand Ambassador for the month of March. Every week you can look forward to reading product reviews featuring some of my favorite products from the CURLS collection. This week I had the pleasure of experimenting with CURLS Passion Fruit Curl Control Paste. I have to be honest and say that I do not use gel often, BUT I do use it frequently for my daughter’s hair. Most days I wear my hair in a twist out or afro, on occasion I use gel to help sculpt the front of my afro.

When I do use gel I am very particular about ingredients because there is nothing worse than a product loaded with alcohol which can dry hair out…..

Check out the ingredients:Water, Ceteareth-25, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Isostearyl Isostearate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Tetrahexyldecyl, Ascorbate, Passion Fruit Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Hydroxyptopyltrimonium, Hydrolyzed Maize Starch, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

My hair is currently in a old twist out so I experimented with the products on my daughter’s hair. The product helped a great deal with slicking down her unruly edges. I also liked that the product does not leave hair with a crispy, dry or sticky feeling. I sprayed Ryleigh’s hair with Curl Quenched Curls Moisturizer first and used the Curl Passion Fruit Control Paste around the edges to help tame frizz.
