This week has been crazy busy and it’s about to get even crazier! I tweet alot about being a “mommapreneur” and this week was no exception to the mommy mayhem in my world. For starters, our family celebrated my daughter’s fourth birthday. We went to her favorite restaurant, Red Robin, and ate like pigs! I cracked up at her response to the barbie doll she received as a gift, “I’ve wanted this my whole life.” Look at how excited she was about the steak fries!
Wednesday we took a field trip on the big yellow bus to County Line Apple Orchard. That place is just stupid big and you literally need to take an entire day to enjoy the sights, scenes and awesome apple donuts. It’s a trip the entire family will love!
This weekend I am super excited to finally meet and work with one of my favorite bloggers Curly Nikki. Curly Nikki is bringing her famous natural hair meetup series to Chicago for the first time. I will be working the event as a promotional model for Motions hair care. If you were lucky enough to get tickets (the event sold out) please stop by and say hello.
Last but not least, on Friday I will be the lead Makeup Artist for Chicago Fashion Week at one of my favorite Chicago boutiques, Essential Elements. Be sure and stop by and take a look at what’s hot for the fall and winter season. Once all of the excitement dies down I will be back blogging next week on a consistent basis.
