Did you tune into the BET Honors Award Show last night? I was not able to watch the entire program, but wanted to share a few highlights from last night’s event. Erykah Badu looked great with a huge afro-textured wig and sang a great tribute to Chaka Khan. Ledisi also did an amazing job! Every time I hear her voice I fall more in love with her songs. She is a true artist! I especially noticed the new Truly Natural Truly Relaxed Campaign by Pantene. I loved Chrisette Michelle’s Pantene video and flew to the website right away to grab the video to share with all of you. I really like how the Pantene brand is making a special effort to stop the hair segregation between relaxed and natural women. We are all sisters and although the natural hair community holds a special place in my heart, I love when we can all come together and celebrate the diversity of beauty no matter the skin tone or texture.
