Last week I was in the grocery store shopping for my daughter’s third birthday and I came across the above sign. I stopped in my tracks and instantly thought about the recent loss of my mother-in-law, she died of cancer just a few short weeks ago. Initially when I saw the sign I thought of writing a nice blog post in her honor. I was going to share all of the nice things she did for me and her grandchildren. At the end of the post I wanted you to feel like you knew her. Somedays it is a real struggle to keep a smile on my face, I remember her in almost everything I do. My dear, sweet husband is also grieving and my children still pray for grandma to get better. I believe she is better and no longer in pain from cancer. We miss her dearly. October is breast cancer awareness month and many people will support this great cause. I have one simple request please don’t forget about all of the other cancers in the world and watch this video, I hope it touched your heart as much as it touched mine.
