Nailtini is a brand of nail polish and lip lacquers that allows you to customize  colors and create a look that is exclusive to your personality called cocktailing (like mixing a drink except you use colors). I was introduced to this brand from ipsy.com, a company that I subscribe to for a fee to receive a glam bag of deluxe size samples on a monthly basis. When I received my November glam bag, I was so excited to see a full size nail polish and a color that was sparkly just in time for the holidays!!!

Day 1 was my attempt of a DYI manicure, which turned into an epic fail as I butchered my cuticles, polished outside of the lines and had chipped polish the very next day (don’t judge me). Needless to say, I found the time to get this fixed by a true professional, off to Chicago’s Big Girl Makeup Bar & Spa I went. Thank goodness they were able to fit me in because I could not written a true review without them.

Here’s what I loved: This is a textured polish that dries faster than a regular polish so I was able to function with my hands fairly quickly. Nailtini offers colors that I have not seen in other brands. Millionaire (the color featured here) was very pretty and I received a lot of compliments. You can wear this color alone as I did or you can cocktail it with another color to create a custom look of your very own.

Here’s what I did not like: The polish lasted 2 days and then the chipping began (see the picture below). I was so glad that I did not pay full price for this!!! On day, 3 the polish started to peel and by day 4, I was able to peel it all off instead of using a remover.

I give Nailtini Millionaire, 2.5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH. This is a great holiday color but for 1 night only!!! This is not worth the full price of $13. If you are looking for a long lasting polish, I suggest you call your local nail salon and get a Gelish or Shellac manicure because they last up to 14 days!!!
