When I received my glam bag from my monthly subscription of Ipsy, I was thrilled to see a red lip gloss included!!! Ipsy is my first introduction to Be A Bombshell Cosmetics, which was founded by a makeup enthusiast in 2011. So now that you have the, who, what, when and why…let’s talk about the product at hand. I am always on the lookout for red lip shades, red is my signature color and I like to find different variations of the color that will work well with my skin tone. Hot Mess is the name of the color but the lip gloss is anything but…LOL. The gloss is hot but not a mess!!! It is rich in pigment but sheer. It is not heavy or sticky and it last a long time.
I put this gloss through an intense test because I really liked the color and I wanted to make sure that it lived up to my expectations. The gloss lasted through a nap and a shower without bleeding or smearing. I was so impressed that I have been wearing it everyday since I have tried it. I have worn it alone as well as on top of other brands of lipsticks and stains and I don’t have any negative remarks. My overall review is 5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH!!!
