On Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting the “Shop the Aisle” event at Walmart in Chicago. Shop the Aisle is an in–store experience dedicated to bringing consumers to the aisles in order to learn more about caring for natural hair. It was quite a sight to see so many women with natural hair in the beauty department just standing around chatting about hair, life and beauty. I want to thank everyone that came out to the event! I love hosting events like Shop The Aisle because it gives me a chance to learn about what Naturalistas really want. Based on several conversations from Saturday, the biggest want and challenge is to find products that help fight shrinkage and add moisture. I had a blast recommending products that I’ve personally used and for my daughters.
